How Microwave/Active Works

Active sensors emit continuous waves (like radar). When these waves hit a moving object, they bounce back at a slightly different frequency (the Doppler Effect). Unlike PIR, these sensors can detect motion even through glass and don't rely on body heat!

Microwave Sensors

Sensinova’s microwave sensors transmit continuous electromagnetic waves and detect motion by analyzing the reflected signals from moving objects. Unlike traditional sensors, they can detect movement through thin walls, glass, and other non-metallic surfaces, ensuring wider coverage and higher sensitivity. This makes them highly effective for automatic door systems, advanced intrusion detection, and smart lighting applications where reliable and precise motion sensing is essential.
