Sensitivity

Adjust the sensor's detection range from 2m to 16m by turning the reach knob. Turn it fully left for minimum range and fully right for maximum. Set based on location needs.

Time Setting

Choose how long the light stays ON (10 seconds to 12 minutes). Movement restarts the timer. Use the shortest time during setup and walk test for accurate adjustment.

Light Control (LUX) Setting

Set light sensitivity from 2 to 2000 lux. Fully left = night-only mode (2 lux), fully right = day mode. Turn fully right during testing in daylight, then adjust per requirement.

Test Instructions

  1. Turn the TIME knob anti-clockwise on the minimum (10s). Turn the LUX knob clockwise on the maximum (sun). Turn the STBY% knob clockwise (10%). Turn the STBY knob anti-clockwise on the minimum (5min).
  2. When you switch on the power, the light will be on at once, and 10 sec later without induction signal the light will turn off slowly. Then if the sensor receives induction signal, it can work normally
  3. Adjust the Stand-by Dimming Level to”10%*, stand-by period to “5min”, when the sensor receives induction signal, the light will be 100% on; 10sec later, the light dims slowly to 10% on for minand then turn off. If the sensor receives second induction signal within the stand-by period, the light will be 100% on.

Ready to Transform Your Space?

Dual-Load PIR Presence Control with IRIS S6DR

IRIS S6DR is a surface-mounted PIR presence sensor with dual-load control, designed for automatic operation of lights, exhaust fans or other circuits from a single point. Mounted on ceilings or suitable surfaces, it detects human movement in its field of view and turns connected loads ON when people enter—then switches them OFF after the set delay. Ideal for washrooms, cabins and corridors, it helps maintain comfort and hygiene while cutting energy waste.

How It Works

Discover the simple yet effective way NANO 16 transforms your space

1

Microwave Emission

Emits 5.8GHz microwaves with <0.2mW power, ensuring precise detection.

2

Motion Detection

Detects movement (0.6–1.5m/s) within 360° range, adjustable 2–16m.

3

Smart Response

Activates lights (≤800W incandescent / 300W LED) with 10s–12min delay.

A microwave motion sensor works by emitting high-frequency waves and detecting changes in the reflected signal. When motion occurs within the microwave sensor range, the reflection shifts, triggering a response. Unlike passive sensors, microwave sensors actively scan their surroundings, making them ideal for detecting subtle movement, even through walls or glass.

Applications

Discover how the IRIS S6DR PIR Presence Sensor automates two loads from one sensor, bringing smart, surface-mounted control to work and utility spaces.

High Rise Building_Motion Sensor

Washrooms & Toilets (Light + Exhaust Fan)

Use IRIS S6DR to independently control lighting and exhaust fans in common or premium washrooms. The sensor brings the light ON as soon as someone enters and can switch the fan ON either together or with its own timing—then turns both OFF automatically after the configured delay, supporting hygiene and comfort.

hospitals_motion sensor

Small Offices & Cabins

Automate cabin lighting and a secondary load (such as a task light, signage or ventilation) with a single sensor. IRIS S6DR detects entry and movement, keeps both circuits ON while the space is in use and switches them OFF after the room is vacant, reducing unnecessary burning hours.

hotels_motion sensor

Corridors & Lift Lobbies

Maintain safe circulation while managing two lighting zones or two groups of fixtures. IRIS S6DR can control, for example, main corridor lights and accent or decorative lights, automatically switching them based on movement and configured timing.

office_motion sensor

Utility Rooms & Service Areas

Ideal for store rooms, utility rooms, staff wash areas and back-of-house spaces. IRIS S6DR ensures the right combination of lighting and ventilation or other equipment operates only when people are present, cutting down on forgotten switches and wasted power.

More Applications

Slide
Parking Areas

Reliable emergency lighting for underground and multi-level parking facilities, ensuring safety in low-light conditions.

Smart Functionality

Experience responsive, dual-circuit lighting and fan control with IRIS S6DR’s PIR sensing, daylight logic and adjustable timing.

Daylight Function

In Daylight mode, IRIS S6DR only operates the lighting circuit when both conditions are met: motion is detected and the ambient light level is below the set lux threshold. This prevents lights from turning ON in spaces that are already bright—while still allowing the fan or second load to be controlled as per configuration, if required.

lux setting-Motion Sensor

Sufficient daylight

When there is enough natural light, the sensor keeps the lighting circuit OFF even if motion is detected, avoiding unnecessary use of artificial light.

lux setting night-Motion Sensor

Low daylight with motion

When the ambient light falls below the selected level and IRIS S6DR detects movement, it switches the lighting load ON automatically. The second load (for example, an exhaust fan) can be configured to follow its own timing.

Detection-Motion Sensor

After people leave

Once motion stops, the loads stay ON for the chosen hold time(s) and then turn OFF automatically, ready for the next occupancy cycle.

No Daylight Function

In No Daylight mode, IRIS S6DR ignores ambient light and works purely on presence detection. This is ideal for enclosed washrooms, internal cabins and corridors where lights and fans should always respond to occupancy, regardless of time of day.

motion detection_sensionva

Motion detected

As soon as a person enters the detection area, the PIR sensor responds to body heat and switches the connected load(s) ON to full operation.

motion detection_sensionva

Area still occupied

As long as movement is detected within the field of view, IRIS S6DR keeps the loads ON, ensuring continuous comfort and safety during use.

Detection-Motion Sensor

No motion detected

After the last detected movement and once the configured hold time expires for each load, the sensor turns them OFF automatically to save energy.

🌓

Knows Sun from Moon

IRIS S6DR includes an adjustable daylight (lux) threshold so you can decide at what brightness level the lighting circuit should respond. This ensures lights are used only when natural light is no longer sufficient, while still allowing flexible control of the second load.

🎚️

Dual-Load Flexibility

With two separately controlled outputs, IRIS S6DR can manage a light and an exhaust fan—or two different lighting circuits—from a single sensor. This simplifies wiring and gives you smarter, scene-like behaviour without extra controllers

⏱️

Stays On When Busy

Every new movement resets the internal timer, keeping both configured loads ON while the area is occupied. This prevents unwanted switch-offs during active use in washrooms, cabins or corridors.

You Set the Timeout

Configure how long each load stays ON after the last motion—shorter for lights if needed, and slightly longer for an exhaust fan or secondary circuit. This lets you tune IRIS S6DR to match real usage patterns in each space.
