In Daylight mode, Nano Pro-S only activates lights when both conditions are satisfied: it detects true presence in the area and the ambient light is below the set lux threshold (5–150 lux or disabled). This prevents lights from turning ON in naturally bright offices, corridors with windows, or daylit washrooms, ensuring that artificial lighting is used only when required.
When the room is already bright enough, Nano Pro-S keeps the lights OFF—even if presence is detected—helping reduce unnecessary energy use.
When ambient light falls below the selected lux level and the sensor detects movement or subtle presence, the lights switch ON automatically to full brightness.
Once presence is no longer detected, the lights remain ON for the chosen hold time (5 seconds to 30 minutes) and then switch OFF until the next detection event.
In No Daylight mode, Nano Pro-S ignores the surrounding light level and depends solely on true presence detection. This is ideal for enclosed or consistently dim areas such as internal corridors, toilets without windows, or deep-plan offices where lights must always react to occupancy regardless of natural light.
